PROJECT LINUS is a group of creative folks who meet throughout the year to make new, handmade, washable blankets, quilts and afghans for traumatized children and seniors in the community. Anyone is invited to donate a new blanket or take part in the annual quilting bee. Donations of brand new quilting fabric are always welcome! In addition to blankets, the Gilmore Park Project Linus group makes toques, scarves, and mitts for the local out-of-the-cold missions and baby hats and blankets for several local hospital maternity wards. For more information contact Gail through the Gilmore Park office.
