The Gilmore Park Strummers meet on Sundays at noon, upstairs in the big "music room". We sing and play old favourites as well as songs and hymns from the church hymnbooks. We also like to play and perform at church services and other events, and at Christmas we go caroling. Our group has a variety of musical abilities and ukulele skill levels. All are welcome.
On Jan 28, 2018 the Strummers started with four lessons for a group of 17 people. These four sessions have turned into continuing our ukulele group for nearly 8 years! We persevered through Covid by having our sessions on Zoom. We have lost several people due to moves or health issues but we have also added new strummers. We continue each week because we have fun, make new friends, and most importantly laugh a lot. All are welcome!
