We'll join with our friends at St. Anne's Anglican Church for a special Good Friday service. We'll retell the story and hold the world in prayer.
If you've never been to a Good Friday service, this is the day we remember that Jesus Christ was killed for what he believed, that he died to show us a new way of living and being. For many - his death marked the forgiveness of all - the promise that we can start again, no matter what. We acknowledge the love the lived so strongly that death was not the last word.
Good Friday is the story of a death that led to resurrection.
3 Days later we celebrate resurrection, new life with all the symbols of new life. With eggs and rabbits, with open tombs and butterflies.
