WOODEN CROSS
Feeling a little crafty during these summer months? This craft is not my original idea. It’s been circulating online and I thought I would give it a try. Now it’s over to you!
Materials:
1 wooden cross
1 piece of scrapbook paper
1 piece of sandpaper
A piece of jewelry or fancy sticker
Modge Podge
Scissors
Paint brush
Glue Gun
Steps
Clip off string from cross (if it has one). Trace cross on scrapbook paper and cut out. Modge Podge the cross then stick the paper on to it. Then Modge Podge over the paper. Let dry for 1 hour. Use your sandpaper to sand the edges all around the cross. This removes extra glue and paper and adds some shading. Hot glue your piece of jewelry to the middle or add a fancy sticker of your choice.
Be sure to smooth out your cross after adding the modge podge to avoid air bubbles.
Please share your cross photos if you make one. Have fun! -Kerry
