Project Linus held a workbee on May 10th to complete 80 blankets - 40 quilts and 40 afghans for seniors and traumatized children. Thank you to sixteen Gilmore Park women and friends along with ten "needle nannies" from Gilmore Gardens who worked to make the blankets!
Project Linus is an national outreach program that provides love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to recipients through the provision of blankets. Our recipients include children who are ill, traumatized or otherwise in need and seniors in care facilities. Please visit Project Linus Canada for more information.
