PEACE & TOGETHERNESS INTERFAITH EVENT WAS WONDERFUL

PEACE & TOGETHERNESS INTERFAITH EVENT WAS WONDERFUL

Thanks to everyone who came to make the Peace and Togetherness Event last Wednesday such a great success.  We shared scriptures about peace from different religions and traditions.  We prayed together.  And we were moved by the way the sounds of the prayers, the music and the sincerity of people wove themselves into our hearts.

Then we celebrated with food and conversation and laughter.  We were truly blessed!  We look forward to future events such as this that bring us together to pray together, listen together and laugh together.

We especially thank the representatives of Richmond Jamea Mosque, Beth Tikvah Synagogue, The India Cultural Centre of Canada Gurdwara Nanak Niwas, The Vedic Cultural Society and Gilmore Park United Church, as well as Indigenous Elder, Roberta Price.

Also to all those who volunteered their time to plan the event, set up and do dishes.  We ask for blessing up on you!
