Mark your Calendars for a screening of the documentary, African Grandmothers’ TRIBUNAL - seeking justice at the frontlines of the AIDS crisis on Wednesday, March 4th from 7:45-8:30 pm following the weekly Lenten service.

“This film centres on the Stephen Lewis Foundation’s African Grandmothers’ Tribunal, held in Vancouver BC in 2013.  The film begins in Africa, and highlights six of these courageous grandmothers as they prepare to give powerful and emotional testimony before the Tribunal judges: Gloria Steinem, Joy Phumaphi, Theo Sowa and Mary Ellen Turpel-Lafond—culminating in this passionate call to action”

There will be refreshments and opportunity for discussion afterwards.
